Why Indian(Asian-one, India ) womens looks Caucasian but mtdna is Asian?

There was probably ethnic mixing at some point, so the general features of Indian people look more caucasian. They are "technically" considered caucasian in the US. Even though the MTdna is asian, possibly the tribes that migrated to India were slightly different than the ones that migrated to east asian countries. I think the general body structure is more similar to asian, but the facial features are more caucasian.
