What should the UN/US do against Israel's latest attacks on innocent people?

Lets face it the only crowd who will actually do anything is the EU. The Republicans and the pro-Israel lobby will cause US to simply roll over. BTW I have Jewish cousins in Israel so don't accuse me of being anti-Israeli.
