Belly on piercing.?

i'm thiinking about getting my belly on pierced. i want it liike suppper badly. buut i'm afraid that it'll huurt or get infected. could my belly on piercing still get infected if i clean it often very well? aand also does it hurt getting it done? well does it hurt more or less than getting your ears pierced.?
