Should I do Excelsior Lpn to rn program? Why or why not?

I just ped my LPN about two months ago and I want to move on and get my rn. I have heard that excelsior does offer this off the site program... but I want to make sure that it is accreditted. If anyone out there has any information on excelsior then please reply. I want to know the pros and cons of that school. thanks.
